Eagles complete stunning comeback | PHI 39 DAL 28
Defense shuts down Cowboys in the second half

Ernie Sims celebrates his game changing INT
The Eagles continued their 6 game home stretch in Week 9 as they welcomed division rival Dallas Cowboys (3-4). This was a very important battle as the race for the NFC East crown was very tight.
Dallas got the ball first and they went to work quickly. They completely sliced the Eagles defence at will on their way to an easy TD, a 4 yard TD run by rookie Brandon Jones. Trying to answer right back, the Eagles hit a wall whe Kevin Kolb first pass attempt was intercepted by SS Aspha Savage. Getting good field position, the Cowboys wasted no time to add to their lead when Tony Romo found Jordy Nelson near th sideline for a 10 yard TD. The Eagles would answer this time around. The offense moved the ball nicely en route to a 22 yard TD pass to Clay Harbor. The Cowboys offense put together another good drive, but this time fell short when Miles Austin couldn't hold on to the ball on a 3rd down pass. Knowing their defense had made a huge stop, the offense wanted to get back and tie the game. But it's the complete opposite that happened. Trying to convert a 3rd down, Kolb was picked for a second time. This time, it was Trerrence McGee who brought it in for the 31 yard INT return for TD. As things couldn't be worse, CB Barry Richards fumbled the ensuing kickoff giving great field position to Dallas. They would take advantage whn Romo finds Brandon Jones for the 4 yard TD catch. With less than 20 seconds in the half, Eagles would get into FG territory and Troy Woodall would hit the 53 yrd FG.
Getting the ball to start the second half, Philly still had hopes of a comeback. Their first drive didn't show anything good as they were forced to punt. Philly knew their D had to give them a stop and they did exactly that when Brandon Graham picked Romo on a 3rd down attempt. With good field position, the Eagles would take three plays to cut the deficit on a 10 yard TD to Tanner Talbert. The defense stepped up again for Philly when they would force the Cowboys in a long 3rd down attempt that would eventually be unsuccessful. The Eagles would continue on their roll and cut the deficit again with a 7 yard TD run by LeSean McCoy. Philly would go for two to put them down by a FG and they would convert. Play of the game would come on the next possession. Facing a third down, Romo thought he saw his WR open in the middle of the field, but LB Ernie Sims would make an amazing INT to give Philly a chance at their first lead of the game. Couple of plays later, Kolb wold find Talbert for a second time for the TD. Philly would take their first lead of the game midway through the 4th quarter. Dallas would put together a very good drive in hope of getting backon top. Facing a 4th & 3, Romo finds Dez Bryant in the middle as he holds on to the ball despit being crushed. After two incompletions, Dallas would find themselves with a 3rd down. With double coverage on TE Jason Witten, Romo would try to fit the ball in there, but it would be picked off by rookie MLB Cordell Shedrick who bringsit all the way to Dallas 4 yard line. Two plays later, FB Anderson gets the TD. A Nmamdi Asomugha pick on the next drive would seal the deal for the stunning comeback for Philly.
The Eagles welcome the NY Giants next week for the first time of the season.

CJ2K Shut-Down | Broncos Win DEN 33 PITT 28
CJ2K is a NO SHOW
posted by JerseyTank on April 2, 2011
This was the biggest win of the Year for the broncos. Coming into this game having been 0-2 VS Giggin. Most experts marks this off as a Lose for the broncos coming into this one. Even with a better record by most the Steelers were the favorites but the broncos came into this game hungry and focused.
Started off as Defensive battle. Broncos drop 10 with a punt return by 1 year pro I.Mann. Which turned out to be a huge difference in this one.
After that Returned punt woke up a sleeping fire inside Giggin' & this game began. Big Ben threw a 7 yard TE pass to H. Miller. Tebow than answered back with a 22 yard pass to his TE D. Jones.
Under 2 min.s in the 1st half Big Ben finds his go too WR Mike TDs Wallace (57 yard TD pass leaving 1:28 in the 2nd QT) Broncos answer back with a 37 yard FG leaving only 28 seconds left in the 1st galf.
2nd half was one of the craziest halves I have ever been part of most exciting and back and forth by FAR. 4th QT started with a 3rd and 1 from the 1. Tim Tebow QB sneaks for a 1 yard TD.
Broncos than punch in 2 more long FGs which Lead to many Steelers fans to leave the stadium but Giggin has something up his sleeve. Big Ben throws another Bomb to Mike Wallace for a TD and recovered an onside kick and going down field for another TD too T.Underwood Which put them down only 5 and about to attempt an onside kick. This time though thank god Broncos recovered it but some how giggin forced the broncos to punt so giggin still had a chance to win it but the broncos put it away with an INT with 0:00 left.

Re: Week 9 Recaps
QWest Field Seattle, Washington
The Saints continued their up and down season with a tough, tough win over the Seattle Seahhawks.
First Quarter
The Saints got the ball and marched down the field by getting the run game going early. The drive was culminated by an 11 yard TD pass to the suddenly surging Taylor Price, who got past the safety and his CB on a nice route. The lag was awful to start the game and Garrett Hartley missed the XP. The Seahawks answered back a few drives later with a TD pass of their own to Deon Butler from 16 yards out.
Second Quarter
This Q was dominated by the Seahawks. The Saints started by going 3 and out and then shanking the punt due to the aforementioned lag. The Hawks then picked VY off on what should have been the tuck rule but never the less they capitalized on the busted play and drove down the field for another passing score, this time to Leon Washington from 11 yards out and then kicked a FG to take a 10 point lead. The Saints climbed back with another TD pass to Taylor Price from 56 yards out to luckily only be down by 5 and half after a failed 2 point convert attempt.
Third Quarter
Not much action in the third frame. The only score coming on a 2 yard plunge by J Stew and then a 2 point convert to go up 20-17. The Saints D came out strong in the second half, picking Chris Robinson off on a crazy play. Robinson dropped back and rifled a ball to the right. Barry Poehls jumped and tipped the ball and Jason McCourty broke off his man and picked it off.
Fourth Quarter
The 'Hawks came out on fire and took the lead right back on a 14 yard run by Leon Washington. Coach Sean Payton could be seen going crazy on the sidelines screaming at his defensive coordinator yelling "Its Leon F*CKING Washington!". After a few three and outs or stalled drives, the Saints took the lead with just over 3 minutes left on a 49 yard pass to the Franchise Reggie Bush. We were a bit worried that we left so much time on the clock and our worries were justified as the Hawks marched down the field, getting huge gains play after play. With just under 30 seconds left and the Seahawks on the 10 yard line, Shonne Greene takes the handoff and Sedrick Ellis rips the ball out to seal the Saints win 27-24.
Great game JHR!

The wind was clearly not a factor at the "Mistake by the Lake" in this one as the fresh off their bye Ravens and division leading Browns put together an air show for the ages!
After a quick Baltimore 3 and out on their opening drive the Browns' Monterio Hardesty gashed through a soft Ravens D breaking off multiple runs - highlighted by a 19 yard outside run to set up FB P.Hillis' tackle breaking 13 yard TD to initiate the scoring. 7-0.
The Ravens recovered quickly on their next drive running the ball well as Ray Rice broke some tackles of his own setting up manageable 3rd downs which Joe went 4 for 4 on the drive before hitting Demaryius"Bay Bay"Thomas for an 18 yard TD to tie the score at 7.
The Browns looked equally impressive on their second drive as Hardesty proceeded to rip through the Ravens defense seemingly breaking tackles at will before setting up Braylon Edwards 28 yard TD on a fly route where he made an outstanding catch by out-jumping Raven CB Webb for the ball in tight coverage. 14-7
The lead did not last however as the Ravens marched back up the field, highlighted by a deep Flacco sideline pass for 20 yards to David Gettis on 3rd & 19th; followed later in the same drive by a nasty 26 yard catch and run by Gettis in which he trucked a hapless Brown defender and then hurdled another on his way into the endzone to tie the game at 14.
The Browns stalled on their next drive but answered with a long 54 yard FG by Swenson to take the lead. 17-14
With under two minutes left in the half, Flacco went hurry up moving his offense methodically down the field quickly before handing the ball off to House on a 6 yard TD run giving the Ravens the lead going into half-time. 21-17
The Browns opened the scoring in the 3rd Q on their first play after the kickoff as McCoy audibled brilliantly at the line of scrimmage hitting Braylon Edwards deep on an amazing 72 yard TD where he stiff-armed SS Tom"Polish Pistol"Zbikowski on his way for the score. 24-21
Not to be outdone, Cool Joe responded by utilizing the mismatch that is possible ROY candidate TE Elliot"Monster"Moore who is quickly becoming Joe's favorite new toy. Catching the Brown secondary flat footed Flacco heaved a deep pass to Moore whose speed was a factor in this one as he raced past the Brown defenders for a 76 yard TD to take the lead again. 28-24
On the Browns next drive, McCoy marched down the field again hitting Edwards and Garcon on crossing routes before connecting with TE Dickson in the middle of the field for a big gain before the drive stalled again deep in the redzone when McCoy misfired on a pass intended to Edwards.
Swenson hit a 27 yard chip shot to decrease the Raven lead to 1. 28-27
The Ravens kept the Browns on their heels by mixing the run and the pass on the next drive hitting Moore in the middle of the field and on the sidelines for big first downs before Flacco connected again with Demaryius Thomas on a 21 yard TD strike down the seam to take an 8 pt lead. 35-27
The game turned on the next Brown possession as McCoy made his first costly mistake of the game as the Ball Hawk Ed Reed jumped a sideline route and took it back 58 yards on an interception return TD to give the Ravens a commanding 42-27 lead.
Both teams would go on to score another TD each in the fourth quarter before Ladarious Webb would pick off McCoy again ending yet another high flying affair between Coach Shameless's Ravens and Coach Wright's Browns.
Final Score: 49-34
Game Notes:
McCoy 22/30 355 yrds, 2 Tds, 2 Ints
Browns run game combined for 110 yards, 2 TDs on just 15 carries.
Braylon Edwards 6 catches, 149 yards, 2 TDs
TE Elliot Moore 7 catches for 180 yards 1 TD.
Demaryius Thomas 5 catches for 80 yards, 2 TD
Player of the Game: Joe Flacco, 21/27, 403 yards, 5 TDs.
Rivalry Notes:
This game was eerily similar to the last time these two teams met - in that, no defense was played in that game as well.
To put it in perspective, this series has averaged only 1 punt in each game, both by the Ravens.
This was the Ravens first division win in 2 years.
Get yo popcorn ready for round 3 later this season!

Jets Defense wreak havoc on Panthers 31-21
Jets get to Clausen 5 times
-New Meadowlands Stadium
New York Jets have another good game and remain undefeated at home. The Panthers didn't go down easy as they put up a fight the whole game, the Jets were able to pull it out in the 4th.
Jets offense played much better in this one putting up better yards and just playing a overall better game, although Brees did throw one int that went for a TD, but he made up for it the rest of the game.
Drew Brees was solid in this one going 11/17 for 219 yards, 2 TDs and 1 int, Brees has been on target all year with his throws when he does throw with a rating of 116.4. Jets ground game was pretty good this game rushing for 100 yards even and 2 TDs on the ground, FB Carey Johnson is showing more and more he can be a reliable goal line back when Steven Jackson isnt getting the ball. Looks like all the Jets wrs have stepped up since LaVon Waiters has went out with a broken collarbone, reports indicate he has another 7 weeks before he can return which means if the Jets can make it to the playoffs he will be able to return for the playoffs.
Jets offense will face a hot Colts defense next week, and even though they played a solid game this week they will need to turn it up just a little more if they expect to win next week.
Jets defense with another dominating performance, that Jets defensive line seems to have there grove after another stellar perfomance getting to the QB 9 times last week and 5 times this week, the defensive backs had a good game too with 3 ints on the night.
CB Champ Bailey had one of the better games of this season with 4 tackles and 1 int on the night, Despite Baileys age he's playing like hes in his prime. DT Scott Wilson has another good game and is proving to be a reliable DT his second year with 22 tackles, 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and a int to his name through 9 weeks. Wilson had 4 tackles and 1 sack against the Panthers. FA pick up Tyjuan Hagler had a solid game of his own picking up 2 sacks on the night.
Jets defense will need to continue there dominance and get to Payton Manning often even if they can hurry him into a throw if they want to pull out the victory.

Chiefs Offense score 37 points in Nashville to Beat Titans 37-23

Jamaal Charles Catches a Pass from Tyler Dougherty in the 3rd Quarter
NASHVILLE, TN- Chiefs improve to 2-6, as Tyler Doughtery might have had his breakout game for the Chiefs as he went 15 for 25 for 316 yards with 3 passing touchdown as he led his Chiefs 37-23 victory.
In the 1st quarter the Chiefs opened up with a Tony Moakli had a 34 yard touchdown catch from Tyler Dougherty, then later in the quarter added a field goal to take a 10-0 lead. The Titans would then strike back, as Aaron Rodgers threw a beautiful pass to Santonio Holmes for a 69 touchdown strike to cut the deficit to 10-7 right before the 1st quarter ended. In the 2nd quarter, the Titans would get on the scoreboard first, as Rob Bironas added a 43 field goal to tie the game at 10. The Chiefs would strike down the field, as Zefris Rheams ran it in from 4 yards out, to take a 17-10 lead. The Titans added a 54 yard field goal right before the first half ended as the Chiefs took a 17-13 lead headed into the locker room.
As the 2nd half started, both teams added a field goal in the 3rd quarter, as the Chiefs took a 20-16 lead going into the 4th quarter. The Chiefs led a beautiful drive, as Tyler Dougherty, threw a nice pass to San Jay Nash for a 14 yard touchdown to increase their lead at 27-16. Ryan Succop later on added a 18 yard field goal with 2:56 remaining in the game. Aaron Rodgers would quickly strike back with a 8 yard touchdown pass to Carrington with just under 2 minutes left. With the Titans with 2 timeouts left, and the Chiefs facing 2nd down, the Chiefs would gamble and put the game away, as they called a playaction pass, to San Jay Nash for a 78 yard touchdown pass for the 37-23 victory.
"Our offense was really clicking today, we just got in a rhythm" said Chiefs Tight End San Jay Nash, who in the last 3 games has caught 31 passes for 433 yards and 5 touchdowns.
