Re: week 15 recaps
Giants lose a heart-breaker in the Meadowlands and are officially out of playoff contention. I won't take LD's thunder. GG, and GL on securing a playoff spot.

Epic show in Lambeau
Packers stun surging Ravens 20-17
Packers stun surging Ravens 20-17
Green Bay (WI) -- Coach Dustin Coil's first day on the job was an unusual, but successful task.
Coil had just taken over the Green Bay Packers who welcomed in the surging 9-4 Baltimore Ravens. The Packers sat at 6-7, needing to win out and receive a large amount of the help to make the playoffs. The Ravens, however, sat tied atop the AFC North and needed a win to match pace with the Browns.
"I obviously wanted us to play well, but to be honest, I just wanted us to win -- no matter how it happened," said a joking Coil before the game.
The Packers came out of the gate taking the game's opening drive down the field ending in a 23-yard TD pass from Nile Turner to Dwayne Bowe.
The Ravens answered back with a balanced attack of their own ending in a Flacco pass to Thomas for 14 yards and the game tieing score.
Then, in the second quarter, the wheels almost fell off the Raven bus.
The Packers drove down the field again with ease. But on a 3rd and 4 from inside the Raven 10, Coach Coil attempted to a sneak a run out of the shotgun but the Ravens were not fooled as they stopped Felix Jones well short of the first down marker.
Mason Crosby's 21 yard field goal put the Pack up 10-7.
On the Ravens' next possession, Flacco dropped back to pass but was hit by Keith Rivers just as he released the ball. The football floated its way towards all-pro cornerback Charles Woodson who picked it off and returned it to for six to put Green Bay up 16-7. Crosby's PAT made it a 10 point game.
"When I saw that ball float to Charles, my heart missed a beat," said Coil. "Suddenly we were up 10 against a very good football team."
Coil may have had a heart attack on the next possession when the Packers forced a Ray Rice fumble, which AJ Hawk recovered.
The Packers drove once again on the short field but Coach Coil found himself getting a bit greedy as he went for the homerun with a corner route from Turner to Jennings.
"[Greg Jennings] was open," said Turner. "I forgot about that other guy."
Sure enough, Jennings was open in the corner of the endzone but that "other guy" was Ed Reed whose interception saved the game for the Ravens.
Neither team would score again in the first half and the Packers were up 17-7 heading into the locker room.
The Ravens came out of the intermission cool, calm and collected as they drove down the field, scoring on a 1-yard run by Rice with 5:41 left.
But those pesky Packers would not be outmatched as they concluded a drive of their own with points via another Crosby field goal to stretch the lead 20-10. With 1:11 left in the third period, the Packers would never score again.
But they wouldn't need to.
The Ravens added a 48-yard field goal with 7:02 remaining but the veteran Packer D held strong.
With just over two minutes remaining in the game, the Ravens had the ball on their own 11 needing 3 to tie and a touchdown to win it.
Green Bay's defense held the Raven offense in check to begin the drive but Flacco found Rice down the sideline for a 35 yard reception into Packer territory.
In an attempt to run some clock and set up a field goal, the Ravens ran the football on 1st down for a gain of 6 yards. On the following play, Flacco was hit while dropping back to pass and the ball fell right in BJ Raji's hands but the 6-foot-2 337 DT could not hang on.
However, Keith Rivers could.
On the next play, Flacco dropped back and it looked as if he had a wide receiver open in the middle of the field but Rivers flew out of nowhere to make the game-winning interception and give Coach Coil his first win of his UFL career.
Great game Ant. Awesome first experience here in the UFL.

Saints Lay a Beatdown on the Subbed-in-for Rams 45-24; Lose Jonathan Stewart for Season
New Orleans, LA
Needing another win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, the Saints took on the Rams, who Frank 2.0 graciously filled in for, in the Louisiana Superdome and came away with a 45-24 win.
The game was marred by injuries on the Saints side of the football, who lost their most potent weapon on the ground, RB Jonathan Stewart, for the year to a broken collarbone. After the game, Saints coach/GM Finz could been seen searching the depths of the Superdowe for Coach Frank 2.0, who was no where to be found. A source close to the Rams front office could be overheard talking about how that was his gameplan going in.
"Frank 2.0 was talking with his players before the game about surefire ways to hurt a player. He was talking about driving your opponent into the turn and having teammates piling on intentionally, not caring about the potential 15 yard penalty that could ensue."
Obviously, Coach Finz was less than pleased. "He's a dirtbag, plain and simple."
Right after the game, the Saints placed Stewart and his 15 rushing TDs on the season-ending IR list and filled his roster spot with Former Colts RB Joseph Addai.
Game Notes:
Saints QB Vince Young was not even needed in this contest, going 3-7 for 56 yards and 1 INT. He did have a key 3rd down play. Facing 3rd and 39, VY could not find anyone open so he took off, rushing for 39 yards and the 1st down. He finished the game with 2 carries for 60 yards
3rd string RB Shawbree McNeal filled the void nicely, rushing for 94 yards on 14 carries and 2 scores.
DT Sedrick Ellis scored his 2nd fumble recovery TD of the season.
Saints move to 8-6 with 2 games remaining.
Great Game Frank 2.0!!
