Foxborough - There would be no repeat of Jahvid Best's 195 yard rushing performance from week 1.

The Green Bay defense wouldn't have any of it.

In fact, Best only rushed for 39 yards on 15 carries.

"We made it a goal to stop Jahvid and then worry about Brady and the passing game," said LB Keith Rivers who recorded 6 tackles on the day.

"Besting" Jahvid was Packer running back Felix Jones who amassed 124 yards on 13 carries for 2 touchdowns. Jones also took a screen pass from Turner 75 yards for a touchdown. Turner was 10 of 13 on the day, passing for 196 yards with 1 touchdown and an ugly interception in the endzone on a pass intended for Jones.

"It just slipped out of my hands," said Turner. "I knew I overthrew it the minute it left my grip."

The Packers scored three times in the first half but only one counted as a 50 yard run by Bernard Scott was called back due to clipping and a Will Blackmon punt return for a TD was called back for clipping as well.

Still, the Packers found a way to score without a penalty to take a 7-0 halftime lead.

The 75 yard pass from Turner to Jones opened the 2nd half and the Packer D took over from there with three goalline stands preventing the Patriots potent offense from ever scoring a touchdown.

Great game slusha. You're gonna be a pain in the ass in that division. You have a solid offense but fortunately for me my defense came to play.
