Rookie Luke Bertrand to Get First Start
Austin TX. The Tony Romo era in Dallas has officially come to an end. Coach Rugged Ron Jeremy announced at today's press conference that Rookie QB Luke Bertrand will make his first start vs the Oakland Raiders. Bertrand, a third round pick out of Walla Walla, was pumped following the news. When asked how he would celebrate, he said "I'm going to the white house. Not the one in Washington."
The Rookie entered the game vs Philadelphia late in the 3rd quarter and ended the game with an unimpressive 4-10 and 43 yards with 1 INT. Clearly the Cowboys want to know if they have their QB of the future or whether they will need to keep looking this off season.
