Welcome everyone to Grade dem Trades where I, Allday28, provide grades for each trade that has taken place this off-season. This is strictly my observation and just for fun so please do not take offense. Also, I'm taking these trades in the order they are on the forum from bottom to top so any trades made after these aren't directly accounted for and will be mentioned when dem trades get grades!
I don't know any of you well enough to take playful shots at.

1st round pick (30 overall)
WR Eddie Royal
SS Josh Barrett
Send:
DE Jason Pierre-Paul
HB Brandon Jacobs
My Take: At first glance this trade seems puzzling if you're a Giants fan. Eli Manning currently has 4 receivers rated 81 and higher, with two of those being in the 90s. But as Chunkness assured, he knows what hes doing and this trade seemed to pave the way for future moves. The Broncos lose a lot of speed in this trade and their first round pick, but Pierre-Paul brings a quick rush off the end and Jacobs gives the Broncos one of the best thunder and lightning tandems the UFL has ever seen.
Broncos:
+ More versatility in run game
+ Improved pass rush
- Loss of speed at WR and SS
- Loss of 1st round pick
Broncos grade: B
Giants:
+ More speed at WR
+ Addition of kick and punt returner
+ Added a draft pick and potential star at SS
- Pass rush takes a hit
- Running game in turmoil
Giants grade: B+

Send:
QB Jamarcus Austin
Send:
QB Chris Robinson
My Take: This trade is extremely puzzing. It's rare to see a QB for QB trade but the Jags and Hawks struck a deal, and quite frankly, my confusion as well. At first sight, the difference between the two quarterbacks seems to be speed with Austin a blazing 86 and Robinson a 66. So maybe the Jags were looking for a pocket passer?
Austin's short throw accuracy is sitting at 61, while Robinson is a 94. Austin throws a better deep ball but one must assume Renard is looking at a more dink and dunk offense. And without those deep routes, scrambling must have been a non-issue.
This is a trade so simplistic that a grade is tough to give. We will give both teams a B, deeming this a push and evaluate it more based on performance next season.

Send:
CB Dunta Robinson
Send:
WR Robert Meachem
My Take: Ah, now it all makes sense. The Broncos replaced the previously traded Royal, losing only Dunta Robinson in a stack -- and good but not great -- secondary. The Browns pick up a corner to line up opposite Tracy Porter, something they've been desperately needing since the trade of Haden. With Garcon, Edwards and Williams still on the roster, the Browns shouldn't suffer too much from Meachem's departure.
Broncos:
+ Replaced Royal with another speedy receiver
- Meachem will not provide spark in return game
- Weakens secondary a touch
Broncos grade: B
Browns:
+ Improves secondary
- Loses highest rated and fastest receiver
Browns grade: B+
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Send:
RG Chris Kuper
TE Benjamin Watson
Send:
LG Nate Livings
3rd round pick (#3 overall)
My Take: The Broncos make an interesting move in their last trade as they swap a right guard for a lefty and send an 85 speed tight end to the Titans for a 3rd round pick. Livings will provide better run support but his overall is less and the Broncos did have three speedy tight ends and figured Watson was the one to go. But could they have gotten more?
Broncos:
+ Upgrade in run blocking
+ Dumping extra weight at TE
- I think they could have gotten more for Watson
Broncos grade: B+
Titans:
+ Add speed at the tight end position
+ Practically swapped even guards losing only a 3rd round pick
- Small loss in run blocking
Titans grade: A-
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Send:
QB Aaron Rodgers
Send:
QB Vince Young
RT John Stinchcomb
DT Remi Ayodele
My Take: In what quite possibly could be the biggest trade this offseason, the Titans dealt perennial QB Aaron Rodgers to the Saints for three players, including the familiar Vince Young. And that's all right with me. Anytime you can get three players for one, I'm a fan, but the Titans get three solid players that can come in right away and make an impact. Young comes in a immediately provides the Titans with another dimension in his ability to scramble and Stinchcomb adds extra protection while Ayodele looks to anchor down the defensive line. But will Dromato second guess himself after the first few errant passes from Young and/or Gonzalez.
For the Saints, they give up quite a bit but they do get one of the best quarterbacks in the game. But the question for the Saints will be, who does Rodgers throw the ball to? The receiving core in the Big Easy looks rather thin.
Titans:
+ Add 3 players; lose 1
+ Add a new dimension at QB
+ Beef up offensive and defensive line
- Massive loss in accuracy at QB
Titans grade: A
Saints:
+ Add top notch QB
+ Were able to keep all superstars in deal
- No receivers for Rodgers to throw to
- Loss of pass protection
- Loss of D-line depth
Saints grade: B
