Alright boys, it's time for the big boy awards!! Congrats to the winners...wear them loud and wear them proud!!
Conference Champions
Congrats to Ant and Jackhammer on conference championships!!
UFL Champion
There can only be one!! Congrats Jack!!
Rookie of the Year
Offensively Raiders QB Daniel Tushaus dominated the air with a nearly 112 QB rating and 39 TD's to just 20 INTs as he lead the Raiders to a playoff birth as well as a playoff victory!! The best is yet to come from this guy, congrats Foed!
Defensively Owamagbe Alli showed excellent promise in his first season. He led the entire UFL in tackles with 88 and added 6 interceptions to boot as the Colts made another strong playoff push behind GM Ceegee.
Sportsman of the Year
While not as boisterous as his two Canadian comrades, one thing was certain, Frankhateme always sported a good attitude and was a pleasure to play. Congrats on the award Frank2.0!!
The Pillars of success
The story for the Denver Broncos was the acquisition of Chris Johnson. 343 carries and 2011 yards later the Broncos went 14-2 and nearly made the UFL Bowl. CJ2K lived up to his name this year, and for that he is our Offensive Player of the year.
Anyone who had the pleasure of playing the Bills knows how dangerous Tyree "Big Time" Rush can be. Not only did he register 67 tackles with 8 sacks, but he also snagged 3 interceptions and 5 forced fumbles. Rush was everywhere on the field and teams definitely lost sleep game planning around him, not to mention he helped the Bills make the playoffs for the first time in 5 seasons. Tyree Rush is our Defensive Player of the Year.
MVP...Again!
While Buffalo fans will tell you that CJ Spiller got robbed from getting the MVP award, football fans will tell you that you can't help but take one look at Peyton Manning and what he does for his club, look at the numbers he puts up, and not give him the MVP award. Manning threw 53 TD passes and just 11 interceptions as the Colts dominated the scoreboards to the tune of nearly 37 point a game. Manning truly was the offense, and for that he gets the nod for Most Valuable Player. Congrats!!
The Genius Manager award
Jersey pulled off a miracle when he acquired HB Chris Johnson after a lousy 8-8 campaign. A season later and Johnson runs for over 2000 yards and the Broncos go 14-2. Coincidence? Nice move Jersey.
5 Star Owners
These four individuals all earned their 5 star owner badges this season. Jersey and JHR for being our sub captains as well as being active on the boards/blast and Finz and Ant for always being around to chat and checking in to see what's going on, not to mention their passion for the league and its members. Thank you guys for everything you do.
The Ultimate Owner
Jersey will be the first one to tell you he's come a long way, and he has. His spirit has kept the UFL burning strong, and his willingness to lend a hand is truly appreciated. He is a solid guy, a tough opponent but always a sport, and he has the passion and pursuit to make the league and himself better. Thanks Jersey for a solid season!!
Alright boys and girls, I think that's it for badges...66 badges later...now let's get to that offseason!!
