With all the news regarding improvements to the offline franchise what is the pulse of the UFL? Are you hopeful or skeptical that these improvements will be implemented into online franchise? It doesnot seem upon browsing the web that there is not alot of information regarding online franchise. That said online franchise is in dire need of the same improvements that are being implemented in offline franchise.

I would guess a lot of the offline improvements will be transferred to the online portion. They didn't touch it this year, they have to this year. I'm not worried about it personally. Definitely not pessimistic.

I doubt a lot will be transfered. I read a while ago, that only a small % of people were playing online franchise, which makes me believe there won't be all these additions to online.

Pessimistic....6-years is the reason why. Can not give EA the benefit of the doubt anymore after being burned for 6 years. When the next console generation comes, it will start all over again..

Honestly, with the way Sway and the gang have set up the UFL, those, new "features" are not even needed.
1) we have our own cap that works very well.
2) we don't have cpu teams, so their "logic" isn't really needed.
3) do we really need a "cut day"? I mean, honestly, how hard is it really (in Madden) to cut a 55ovr, 7th round draft pick?
The #1 thing that I really think we need is the "new" scouting and "new" draft classes that they are talking about... They said that the new draft classes have random player names, numbers and ratings so that there wont be any "cheat sheets" for people to know exactly who is A,B pot in the draft...
This would be huge imo and would make online franchise great because, nobody would "know" any of the rookies, even if they are in other online leagues with other friends.
Other than that, I don't think "we" (UFL) "needs" any of the new features...

There's no way the online franchise will have all those new bells and whistles that the offline franchise has available. The only way that stuff will make it online is if they reincarnate the EA locker feature giving users the opportunity to exchange offline franchise files and download/upload spawn games and results.

If I had one wish for Online franchise it would be to export my roster so that I can practice with my team.
If I had two wishes it would be export and like CeeGee said pump up the draft...would be nice for ppl to land some gems and what not.
Also would like some increased commish options (there's like 2 now) as well as better stat tracking but XFN has that covered for now so it's all good there...
